Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer among women, and the number of those suffering from this disease increases every year. Early diagnosis significantly increases patients' chances of recovery and life expectancy, especially in breast cancer. X-ray imaging and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) are currently two popular solutions for early breast cancer detection. Microwave imaging is a promising method for the detection of early stage breast cancer. Microwave images for medical applications are maps of the electrical property distributions in the body and have been paid close attention to for several years. This technique visualizes the breast tissue utilizing the difference of dielectric coefficient between benign and malignant tissues. The most important element of the microwave imaging technique is the material and construction of the antenna. In this special issue we are welcoming papers that cover or are related to any of the related topics.
