In this paper, we use a technique based on the neural network and ANFIS controller in order to reduce the torque ripple, stator flux ripple and THD value of stator current in the induction machine (IM). The effect is highlighted by considering the machine controlled by the 24 sectors DTC. In this paper, we propose to replace conventional selector states of switches inverter by a neural selector able to generate the same signals to control this inverter, on the other hand, the classic PI controller of speed is proposed based on Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) controller. Simulation results are presented and show the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.
Habib BENBOUHENNI ##submission.copyrightStatement## Fri, 15 Feb 2019 07:07:38 +0000 DESIGN MODEL OF AUTOMATED GROUNDNUT THRESHING MACHINE
Abastract - The groundnut threshing machine is a device that removes groundnut seeds from its pod by stripping, impact action, rubbing. The major parts of the proposed machine will consists of the feeding hopper which contains the unshelled groundnuts and infrared sensor, the threshing unit comprises of rotating pike (beater) and a fixed concave (screen) with a small gap space for threshing the groundnut, the separation unit which separate the threshed seeds from the chaffs through the use of fan and the seeds will be collected at the collecting unit, where the seeds will be convened through a conveyor. An automation code will be developed written in Arduino Uno software interface in C language which will be embedded on microcontroller (ATmega 328p) for the automation process of the groundnut thresher, the materials which will be sourced locally. Three motors are to be use as prime mover for thresher, blower and conveyor. The performance of the system will be evaluated in term of its throughput capacity, threshing efficiency and mechanical damage.

Key Words: Groundnut, Design, threshing, Separation, automation, Arduino Uno
Benjamin Bello, AJIE TOKAN, READER at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Univers, Danladi Jibril Jiya, A professor at Electrical & Electronic D, Abubakar Ibrahim Musa, Researcher at Energy commission of Niger ##submission.copyrightStatement## Fri, 15 Feb 2019 07:09:32 +0000 A Sensorless Control Strategy of a Doubly Fed Induction Machine using an Extended Kalman Filter
This paper studies a control strategy of a Double Fed Induction Machine (DFIM) which is the most responsive drive in terms of speed variations. The chosen configuration uses two voltage inverters connected to the stator and to rotor windings. This allows spreading out the power between the stator and the rotor thanks to their distribution and pulsation in motor operation mode. Here, a Field Oriented Control (FOC) strategy is used for the DFIM to regulate its speed without a mechanical sensor. Indeed, an Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) has been designed to estimate in real-time the DFIM speed and to replace the sensor. Finally, the sensorless control strategy is validated by simulation tests and is compared to a FOC based on a speed sensor. The results show that the sensorless FOC strategy improves the control robustness and performances in the case of a fault.
Patrice Wira ##submission.copyrightStatement## Fri, 15 Feb 2019 07:11:30 +0000 A Review of Recent Advancements in Flux Reversal Permanent Magnet Machine (FRPMM)
The flux reversal permanent magnet machine (FRPMM) is a novel brushless double-salient permanent-magnet machine with a winding less rotor, in which phase flux polarities are reversed in the stator concentrated coils for each electrical cycle of rotor displacement. In this concept, the qualitative comparisons are made between the FRM with different varieties of brushless machines, especially a switched reluctance machine based on Flux-MMF diagram technique. This description gives the all-inclusive review of improvements of several electrical machines for adoption to renewable energy harvesting, disclose all equivalent limitations along with research favorable circumstances. Various design strategies such as the magnet arrangement, winding techniques are adopted to increase the performance of FRPM and key results have been discussed and analyzed.
Manne Bharathi ##submission.copyrightStatement## Fri, 15 Feb 2019 07:15:02 +0000 Predictive control of inductor supplied by high frequency inverter for induction heating application
Induction heating depends on several independent parameters such as the energy supplied, the heating time, the geometry of the piece to be heated and also the frequency of power supply, this latter strictly affects the variation of the power which depends directly on both the square of the current induced in the load and on the frequency, For this reason, the supply of induction heaters requires the use of high frequency converters which have a very good solution. The control of the current of the inductor needs more and more of an advanced control technique to ensure a good regulation with precision, quickness and efficiency. In this work, we presented a mathematical model of induction heating represented by the assembly (inductor-load), followed by the scheme of the chosen HT inverter, whose resonance is taken in consideration by applying a compensation capacitor in series with the load. Then we synthesized adapted predictive control laws in order to control the current of the inductor and consequently the power supplied to induction heating. The results of the simulation show the effectiveness of the control strategy.
azzedine khati, Abdelkader Kansab, Rachid Taleb, Houari Khouidmi ##submission.copyrightStatement## Wed, 13 Mar 2019 14:47:11 +0000
